Our aim at NLC is simple: to practice what we preach by helping every player reach their Next Level. Whether you're preparing for your very first season of field hockey or getting ready for University/College hockey, our international coaching team is here to support your journey.

Each camp traditionally runs 5 days (Monday–Friday), 8am–12pm, offering 4 hours of high-quality coaching each day. We understand that committing to all 5 days can be challenging, which is why we now offer flexible booking options of 1–5 days. The 5-day camp remains the best value, but we are happy to create solutions if you can only attend certain days—just reach out and we will do our best to accommodate.

We previously limited player reports to 5-day participants, but now any registered player can request a personalised written report for $10, paid directly to the coach working with them. You can arrange this with your coach at camp or message us directly.

Regular Camp

Take your game to the next level with NLC’s 5-day camp—the best value field hockey experience in your area, bringing elite-level international coaches straight to your school. Our fun, progressive, and challenging program welcomes players of all ages and abilities, with appropriate groupings to ensure everyone learns in a supportive environment.

Each day focuses on a key theme, covering both offensive and defensive skills. The first four days emphasise development, while Friday brings everything together with fun challenges, mini-games, and match play. Depending on the facilities, we may even include our popular slip-and-slide deflection session.

Included in the Regular Camp

• 20 hours of coaching across the full week

• Development of advanced skills such as:

  • Drag flicking

  • Aerials

  • Reverse stick hitting

  • 3D skills

  • Deflections (with a slip-and-slide where possible)

  • And many more

• Small-sided games and competitive exercises

• Friday matches, challenges, and a full skills circuit

• Personalised focus: tell us what you want to work on, and we will ensure you get dedicated time with a coach

Even after camp finishes, our coaches remain available—just message us any time for support or guidance.

 

Elite Camp

Our Elite Camp is designed specifically for Varsity athletes or aspiring Varsity/Collegiate players ages 14–18. This program pushes players further and explores advanced skills in greater depth.

Elite Camp Includes — $275

• Professional coaching from elite international coaches

• In-depth advanced skill work with video analysis

• Individual tactical guidance based on player roles and strengths

• Prehab and conditioning support to prepare for future trials and teams

• A detailed Player Report included

• A custom NLC headband for every participant

• Maximum of 10 players to ensure a highly personalised experience
